About Me
Bio: Rachel Mundy
My experience in business practice started 23 years ago when I took an apprenticeship in a legal firm. This later progressed to contract management, commercial management, marketing strategy and business development in the Oil and Gas sector in 2008. Following this, I lead larger business development initiatives in the Ports and Logistics sector, and in 2021 I moved into the education sector to achieve a personal ambition of teaching and lecturing.
I have worked with many businesses along the way, from small entrepreneurships to SMEs to enterprise blue-chips and have experienced a wide variety of multinational, regional and corporate cultures. My areas of expertise are in leadership, management, strategy, business development, marketing, commercial acumen, cultural awareness, contract law, communication and personal professional development.
Accomplishments on my journey so far include leading and delivering government initiatives under the UK’s Brexit plan, securing public funding for infrastructure projects, leading numerous business development projects with corporate organisations, entering new markets, redesigning internal processes, negotiating contracts worth £m+, leading group marketing activity, and leading teams.
With the right knowledge, skills, behaviours and the support of those around us, I believe any business, team or individual can achieve their goals and life fulfilment. I have a down to earth personality with a common sense approach to problem solving. I thrive on supporting others, especially the next generation entering the workplace, and strive to maintain authenticity, honesty, integrity and equality in modern business practice.
There is no enquiry too small, if you are interested in any of my freelance services, I welcome all enquiries from individuals or businesses where I can be of service.
